Just watched a morning tv show and they had a debate on Muslim culture in Australia. All i want to say is if your belief system whatever it may be is in such conflict with the general community you live in then why the hell do you stay in it? I dont personally believe in all that is the Australian way of life and i have my own views on whats is screwed but i do my best to live with in the culture, even if that means distancing myself from it at times.

In my opinion The islamic community as a general rule are not doing this, their belief system is in complete contrast to the Australian culture. As you will know if you have read any of my previous posts i dislike all religion but whatever, its your choice, just dont ram it down the rest of the worlds throat. Muslims at present would have to be the most racist part of the community, they are aggressive and elitist, and they love to cry foul if anyone speaks out against the religion.

We can debate this and argue that but in the end why would you be somewhere that you detest so much?

Once again i disagree with ALL religion so dont post that i am being negative only towards Muslims etc. Ok Im just over the violence and bullshit. Can we not all get along? Ive accepted that religion is here to stay, so why cant all the different religions just get along?

Great rant. One of the most interesting aspects of the current society is that the same people who'd preach atheism, secularism, tolerance yadda yadda grwo remarkably pious and blind-eyed when it comes to Islam.

i agree that there are certain members of the australian islamic community who abhore all law but sharia, and who wish to impose their beliefs on the general populace, but these individuals are the exception rather than the norm. most australian muslims are not racist, are not elitist and are happy to merely practise their beliefs rather than enforce them. both the qu-ran and the hadith advocate tolerance, co-existence and peace with people of different race, nationality and religion....and generally, this is followed by australian muslims. its just the self righteous few who allow the whole to be demonized. i just want to ask you one thing, what in your view are australian values and beliefs? how would you define our culture?
personally, i loathe any person or institution (including those which are islamic) that forces their beliefs/ideas on others, but the majority of muslims dont do that.

ou make a great point, why do those buggers who hate Australia live here? I honestly don't know, maybe because they like making use of the countries resources?

I'd say 'lets legislate against people like that', but inevitably some random politician will take it to his/her advantage and go crazy with power.

Just have to deal with the small minority with the big mouth.
